ahh the inspiration from the Farmer’s Market. Which made me realize… wow I need to go to the Farmer’s Market more. It’s funny how dry January has really allowed me to get up and do things Sunday morning. What’s better than going out to get a coffee and a Farmers Market stroll? Okay, I digress but seriously. This last weekend, I loaded up on fresh strawberries (there were so many strawberries & it’s not season yet but they were SO good?????), fresh citrus like grapefruits and of course Blood oranges! So on Monday, I initially wanted to make one or two recipes videos given my haul and went ahead and made seven new recipes… yikes I know but I just couldn’t stop?? Send help? It’s funny because I’m not even drinking right now because of Dry Jan but it made me miss all the cocktail recipes. Anyway…
Here’s what you’ll need for today’s recipe:

Smeg Immersion blender | Dried Strawberry powder | Cocktail shaker (the best for Espresso Martinis)
The one recipe that truly inspired this WHOLE story was this recipe right here, Strawberry Tiramisu
After seeing this I was like okay… 1000% yes but what if we made it for a cocktail instead?! So taking this as inspiration and using the recipe from my Pretty Simple Cocktails book (you know the one, the Tiramisu Espresso Martin on page 133).
Here’s how to make that Strawberry Vanilla Syrup
Ingredients:
1 Cup white granulated sugar
2 cups chopped strawberries
1 cup filtered water
1-2 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions:
Add strawberries, sugar, and water to a pot and place on medium heat.
Cook on a medium-low heat until you start to cook down the strawberries, approx. 15 minutes.
Let simmer for an additional 10 minutes and then let cool.
Add in your vanilla extract and using an immersion blender to combine all those ingredients, strawberries and all!
Option to strain from here if you don’t want the seeds (I think the seeds are cute)
Store in an airtight container for up to 4 weeks in the fridge!
Now comes the Tiramisu Marscapone cream, I did eyeball this but let me put together a recipe for you inspired by the book!
Ingredients:
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup cascarpone
1/4 cup strawberry syrup
1 large egg yolk, at room temperature
Instructions:
In a medium bowl, combine the cream, mascarpone, strawberry syrup, egg yolk and whisk until the mixture is rich and creamy!
Store in the fridge up to 3 days.
adjust to desired sweetness as needed!
Okay, NOW that you have all that!! And here’s the deal, this is a totally EXTRA cocktail. Like should this be an everyday go-to? Probably not.. I mean hey pop off it is. But truly, this is perfect for Valentines or Galentines to take the extra step for something fun and festive! So here we go, now that we have all that we need for this. Lets finally make our much-deserved cocktail.
STRAWBERRY TIRAMISU ESPRESSO MARTINI
Ingredients:
1.5 oz Vanilla Vodka
1 oz brewed espresso, cooled
3/4 oz coffee liqueur
1/2 oz strawberry syrup
To top: approx 1-2 tbsp strawberry mascarpone cream
Instructions:
Add vodka, espresso, coffee liqueur, and strawberry syrup to a cocktail shaker.
Add ice and shake!
Double strain into a chilled coupe glass.
Top with the strawberry mascarpone cream.
Carefully dust the top with dried, ground strawberry powder.
Top with a strawberry!

Well as I’m writing this, I’m about to sign off for the rest of the week and weekend. I’m headed off to a bachelorette and will officially be signing off of DRY JANUARY, I mean 23 days is still pretty good in my book, right? I’m actually about to pack up a go bag full of mixes for airplane cocktails. I’ll link what I bought for that and can’t wait to share what I make tomorrow and what I’ll be sipping on this weekend!
Till then, a big cheers to you and your cocktail-ing!
