Best rooftop bars in Rome for a spritz!
Frozen sips for hot days
To all my Italian purists and cocktail aficionados who have a problem with the spritz life outside of an Aperol Spritz, to them we remind them we hit them with these facts: The spritz originated in Veneto, Italy, where prosecco comes from. The story goes that the word spritz originated during the 1800s when Austrians visiting Italy would dilute Italian wines with a “spritz” (German for “splash”) of soda water to make them lighter and more to their taste. Therefore, spritz means a splash of bubbles which could mean soda water, prosecco, or truly your favorite bubbles. And I leave you with this, don’t let anyone ever tell you that your Spritz isn’t a spritz, if there are bubbles present… it’s a spritz! Is it Spritz O’clock yet?!
Glassware round up
Since we are on the topic of it, let’s talk spritz glasses! What do you need? Well, I actually use two types of glasses for my spritzs’; White wine glass & a rocks glass. Now, you use a glass with a stem usually so you can keep the glass cold by holding the stem rather than having your hands heat up the glass. But I think using a rocks glass is such a vibe sometimes, especially for frozen cocktails. So here are three white wine glasses I recommend & 3 rocks glasses! The rocks glasses can also be used for drinks like a Margarita, old fashioned, and sours!

Summer hosting “making life easier” must-haves
So recently, I’ve hosted a summer cocktail party and I’ve also made my way to the beach a couple of times. So, I wanted to share some things I have that SAVED my life for the ultimate beveragino experience.
worth the investment is this YETI ice bucket, it keeps your ice from melting obviously and it’s such a great way to have ice at the ready for outdoor entertaining or beach cocktail shaking. I use this for my cocktail shaking ice and keep the fancy cubes for serving. Link is HERE

MY NEW MUST HAVE OF ALL TIME, A BAR MAT
Last thing, you all know I’m a YETI STANNN but these Business & Pleasure coolers are so easy to bring to the beach for your drinks (honestly, anything from Business & Pleasure has my heart. I have their beach chairs and beach umbrella and can’t express how much I love them)
Aperol vs. Campari, and other Amaros
