It seems like a lot has happened in two weeks. And what might that be, you’re wondering? Well… we may or may not have gone into escrow on a house !!!! Now, a lot can happen from now until close but to say we are excited is an understatement. But also homeownership? Yikes… It’s a bit scary that much is true but I have to say, picking out which flooring and the paint I want for the house has been like a real-life version of the Sims (Is there a ‘rosebud’ cheat code?!). So get ready for lots of reno content to help make the space perfect… perfect to sip a martini 😉

🍸 While out thrifting I found these Martini glasses, a pair of two for 2.95 each (quite the steal). If you can believe it, I posted a poll on whether or not to purchase these beauties, and if you can believe it a staggering 57% of followers said NO!! Well, to them I say, boo you and I now have the cutest pair of martini glasses. If you agree with me, I found a link… on Etsy here
🇯🇲 I’m going to Jamaica !! About a month ago, I was asked if I’d like to go on a trip to Jamaica and I ran to my email to immediately say YES. I’ve never been to Jamaica and it seems like the perfect kick-off to summer. I’ll also be hosting a cocktail class while I’m there! They are doing a sweepstakes right now to win a free trip, you can enter here

🍽️ Restaurant highlight: The Fishery it’s one of our favorite restaurants here in San Diego. Yes, the seafood is absolutely divine… but let me tell you their cocktails are just next level. Truly so inventive going beyond what’s in season and using leftover ingredients from the kitchen, like when they infuse their vermouth with oyster shells.
It’s a must-stop if you’re in town. Here’s my San Diego Google Maps too!
HOME FINDS
Now that I’ve been looking EVERYWHERE for home decor/improvement items, here are some brands and items I’ve found that I wanted to share.
I’ve been looking for flooring (lol who am I) and found this company STUGA and omg not only are their flooring selections drool-worthy, but their company ethos is even more drool-worthy.
A direct-to-consumer flooring company that was the first to remove all solvents from their acrylic finishes, is carbon-neutral and has prioritized sustainability.
Since I’m upgrading from my apartment, it’s time for an adult-sized couch. I’ve been looking everywhere but I think I may commit and invest in my dream couch… The Six Penny couch but with my black cat Martini Girl I need to be careful with the fabric so I’ve been looking at the Cotton Canvas NEVA U-Shape (polyfill for my allergies lol) - will report back! They also have other gorgeous furniture options!
Can we talk about Zara Home? I’m going to show and link some things that have been in my cart (no affiliate code for Zara but IDC I’m obsessed!!)

Ahead of the cocktails, I think it’s time to share my FAVORITE cocktail spotify playlist ⬇️
SPRING COCKTAIL-ING
Here’s what I’m working on; Spring Negroni

Clearly I made two different here, one playing with Suze and the other with Lillet Rouge, I have to say I am a fan of the lillet rouge version - its just so flavor and light!
But here’s the recipe I worked with 1:1:1 (simple I know) but here are the two versions and you let me know which is your favorite!
Left: White Negroni
1 oz Gin, I used the Hendricks Flora Adora (was pretty floral so up to you!)
1 oz Lillet Blanc
3/4 oz Suze, or I actually prefer Luxardo Bitter Bianco if I were to do this again
Mix in a mixing glass with ice and pour over a large cube.
Right: Pretty in Pink Negroni
1 oz Gin, I used Four Pillars Rare Dry Gin
1 oz Strawberry infused Campari, find it here
1 oz Lillet Rouge
Mix in a mixing glass with ice and pour over a large cube.
Now, let’s get ya’ll set up with some OG’s for Spring you MUST know
