I made Alton Browns Aged Eggnog
Make yours today so you too can have this in time for Christmas!
I should’ve made this months ago, you’re right… but that’s okay!! We are still going to have Aged Eggnog anyway.
🎄 Eggnog Journey: Aged Edition 🎄
I’ve been meaning to do this forever, and now it’s happening: Aged Eggnog is finally in the works! Here's the plan:
✨ The Tradition: If after two weeks the flavor difference is undeniable, I’m committing to a new tradition. Every Christmas Eve or Christmas Morning, I’ll make a batch to store for a whole year. Future-Christmas-ready eggnog! Who’s with me?
✨ The Comparison: Alongside Alton Brown’s recipe, I’m also making Martha Stewart’s version. She incorporates whipped egg whites and much more booze, so it’ll be fun to compare the texture and flavor after aging.
✨ The Process: Watch me make Alton’s recipe step-by-step in this video. I’ll list all the ingredients below and share the link to the full recipe if you want to try it yourself.
What are your thoughts on aging eggnog? Have you ever tried it? Let’s share notes because… this might just become the ultimate holiday staple. 🎅🥂
